HIPS UPDATE
The Government has announced the completion of the roll out of the Home Information Pack (HIPs) programme that commenced in August 2007.
With effect from December 14th 2007 all residential properties (regardless of the number of bedrooms) will require a Home Information Pack including an Energy Efficiency Report. However there will be no delay in placing a property on the market for sale - ordering a HIP and Energy Efficiency Report will be sufficient for putting sales into motion.
