Not enough houses for eager buyers
Heywoods is doubling its efforts to get more homeowners to put their houses on the market with Newcastle-under-Lyme's leading estate agent in a bid to satisfy eager househunters.
The company, which has been selling homes in the area for more than 40 years, has seen a dramatic rise in the number of buyers who are clambering to find properties in and around the town.
The team is out and about talking to homeowners from the Westlands to Trentham and Knutton to May Bank getting them to put the Heywoods For Sale boards at the front of their properties.
Tricia Coultas said: "We have a glut of potential buyers and are on a mission to give them even more choice by adding as many properties onto our books as we can.
"This is being fuelled by returning confidence in the housing market which is beginning to show signs not just of stabilisation but of modest growth and people who want to buy houses are knocking on our door in their droves.
