The EPC provides two pieces of information.
Ratings are shown on a scale from A to G and give you an indication of how energy efficient the property is.
A 'Recommendation Report' is included and lists the ways you can improve the energy efficiency of the property.
Since 2009, as part of the Energy Performance of the Buildings Directive (EPBD) issued by the European Union, all buildings in the UK that are constructed, sold or offered for rent require an EPC.
If you are selling a property, you are required to provide an EPC. This must be attached to the sales particulars.
An EPC can only be produced by a Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) or a Home Inspector (HI) who is a member of an approved Government Accreditation Scheme.
We can offer competitive rates on producing an EPC for your property.
